TIPS
The versatility of blue & white means that it can be styled in most rooms in your house. Adding a blue & white ceramic vase or ginger jar can add depth to a simple neutral colour scheme or traditional flavour to a more eclectic home. You can never go wrong with blue & white in a country-style kitchen, but don't be afraid of adding blue & white to more modern homes too.
Plants with their bright green leaves look fabulous set against blue & white - reflecting the colours in nature, which can be extremely calming. This works well in a bedroom or living space but can also be beautiful in a kitchen with big windows as mirroring the outside will make your kitchen flow seamlessly into your garden.

Here are our top tips for styling blue and white in your home….
1
VASES DON'T ALWAYS NEED FLOWERS
Choose a medium to large ceramic blue and white vase and use it as a centerpiece in your kitchen, pop it on a kitchen counter or table and let it work its magic whether or not you have fresh flowers.

A large blue and white porcelain floor vase will look fabulous in a corner of a kitchen or living room. It doesn't need to be filled but if you do want to fill it then choose dried flowers or seasonal branches which won't need to be replaced.
2
GROUP YOUR BLUE AND WHITE PIECES TOGETHER FOR DRAMATIC IMPACT
A group of blue and white ceramic pieces of varying sizes and heights work really well together to add depth, interest and impact. Cluster pieces together on a window sill, mantlepiece or dresser - try to get a balance of differing heights and don't be afraid that they don't 'match' - the blue and white theme will bring the look together. Ensure they have space around them and aren't cluttered by other objects and let your blue and white group shine!
3
STYLE UP YOUR FIREPLACE
Decorate a non working fireplace or a fireplace you aren't using in the summer months with blue and white planters filled with ferns and palms. This is a fabulous way to keep it traditional in an older house but will also add depth and character to a newer build.
4
PUT BLUE AND WHITE POTS ON TOP OF YOUR CABINETS
If you have an awkward space above your kitchen cabinet then try adding a small blue and white planter with a trailing plant. We recommend a Neon Pothos as their bright green leaves are really eye catching and they are fast growing easy going plants.
5
USE A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE PLANTER TO MAKE A STATEMENT
Sometimes more is more and it is hard not to love large blue and white pieces. Pair them with large plants such as a Kentia Palm or Bird of Paradise. A large planter like this can look perfect in a hallway or on an awkward landing.
