By visiting our vintage plant pots and vases shop, buying our plant pots, vases or plant furniture or using our plant pot sourcing or styling services you are trusting us with your information and we take protecting your personal information and your right to privacy very seriously. If you have any questions or concerns about our policy and/or practices regarding your personal information then please do get in touch.

Please do read through this policy carefully and if there are any terms in this privacy policy you do not agree with then please do discontinue using our sites and services. 


This policy applies to all information collected via our website: and any services we provide (this may include sales/marketing and events). This policy should help you make decisions about what information you are happy to share with us. 

 

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Queens of Green Design collect any personal information that you provide to us. This includes information that you may provide to us when you register on our website, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services or otherwise contact us. 

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interaction with us and our services. It can include the following:  Publicly Available Personal Information (such as first name, last name, email addresses, phone numbers, current and former addresses and all similar data), Payment Information. 

We also automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate our website. This information doesn’t reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact details) but it may include device and usage information such as what phone or tablet you are using to browse our website, your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our website and other technical information. This information is primarily needed and used to maintain the security and operation of our website as well as for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. This means we may use some of this information to help inform us about our customers as well as improve our services. Also, like many businesses we collect information through cookies and similar technologies.

We  use the information to respond to legal requests - for example if we  received a witness summons or any other legal request we may use the information we hold to determine how to respond. We use the information and data we collect to deliver services to the user - we may use your information to provide you with the service you have requested. 

 

WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?

We only share information with your consent, to comply with the law, to provide you with goods and services and to fulfill business obligations. We may process your data if you have given us specific consent to use your personal information for a specific purpose. We may process your data when it is reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests. We may process your data and information when we have entered into a contract with you in order to fulfill our terms of that contract. This may include sharing your information with companies such as Royal Mail, couriers or other delivery services. 

We may share your information when we are legally obliged to do so in order to comply with laws, government requests, legal proceedings, court processes, a response to a court order or witness request. This would include requests from government authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. 

We may also disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate or prevent or take actions regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, situations involving threats to safety of any person or persons, and any illegal activities, or as evidence or  any investigations pertaining to any legal proceedings we are involved in.  We will also need to process your data or share your personal information in the event of a business transfer. We may share or transfer your information in connection with or during negotiations of any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

We may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store your information. We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies - like web beacons and pixels - to access or store information. 

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We keep your information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy unless otherwise required to by law - for example if there were tax, accounting or other legal requirements that would permit us to keep your information for longer. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your information we will either delete it or anonymise it or if this is not possible we will store it securely until deletion is possible.

HOW WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE

We take the security of your information seriously and have implemented appropriate technological and organisational security measures to keep the information we process safe however we cannot guarantee the security of the internet and although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information is at your own risk. Remember you should only access our services within a secure environment. 

 

DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN (THOSE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE)?

We do not knowingly collect or process information from those under 18 or market our products and services to those under 18. By using  our website and or services  you are representing that you are at least 18 years of age or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and you are giving permission for the minor you are responsible for to use our website and services. If we become aware that information from anyone under 18 years of age has been collected, we will take reasonable measures to delete the information from our records. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

If you are resident in the UK and believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information then you can complain to the I.C.O. - Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/

Most web browsers and some operating systems and mobile applications include a ‘DNT’ Do Not Track feature or activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanisms.
