Despite their high-maintenance appearance, orchids are actually fairly easy to keep and bathrooms - with their usually indirect light and warm, steamy environment make a great home for orchids. Just keep them away from drafts and make sure not to overwater and they'll look beautiful in a bathroom.

If  you love a trailing plant and want some serious jungle vibes in your bathroom then look no further than a golden pothos which will thrive in a humid environment and looks great trailing from bathroom shelves and hangers.

FERNS

Ferns can be easy or hard to look after - depending on which type you go for - but they adore humidity so would be a great choice for a bathroom or wet room. Boston Ferns are fairly easy going, but be careful if you pick a Maidenhair Fern as these aren’t for the faint hearted and can be real divas!

TRADESCANTIA

Originating in Mexico - plants like Tradescantia Zebrina (a.k.a Silver Inch Plant), is happy in temperatures ranging from 10°C - 24°C, which makes them perfect for the bathroom. Their beautiful iridescent striped leaves look stunning and the high humidity helps to prevent them drying out.

SPIDER PLANT

Spider plants are really easy to grow and they thrive in most conditions but will do particular well on a sunny bathroom windowsill or in a hanger near a shower. You'll know if they're happy as they start to sprout the baby spider-look plants that hang down and give them their name!
